Scotland Food and Drink

The Scotland Food and Drink artisan village features 12 great producers, all carefully selected for both their commitment to quality and sustainable production.

Visitors will be able to taste everything from smoked venison and duck to superb quality beef and lamb to gourmet pies, Scottish fruit-infused vodka and melt-in-the mouth shortbread.

In the heart of the Artisan Village, visitors will also be able to enjoy the flavours of Scotland at the Tasting Bar.  Wendy Barry – leading food educator, food stylist, recipe developer, cookery demonstrator and Director of the Scottish Food Guide – will demonstrate how to use the fantastic products from the Artisan Village in creative ways, with delicious tasting plates on offer, too.

Scotland Food & Drink is also involved in the new Kitchen sponsored by Love Food Hate Waste. Cookery demonstrations using Scottish food & drink products sourced from our artisan village producers will entice the visitor with exciting recipes and hints and tips on how to use and store food to create less wastage. Check out the timetable for The Kitchen for Chefs and demonstration times.

Scotland already has a fantastic reputation for the quality of its produce, but we aim to continue the development of the food and drink industry so that the whole country can enjoy a vibrant and positive food culture. Scotland Food & Drink is extremely proud to sponsor the artisan village at this year’s Show. This is an exciting new collaboration which demonstrates our commitment to promoting quality food and drink from small producers and enhancing Scotland’s reputation as a ‘Land of Food and Drink’.
